The HankyTankyHanger became a vision for Chrissie in 2007

After doing laundry, Chrissie would neatly fold her best tank tops and place in her top dresser drawer. Any remaining tank tops would be slung around the neck of a wire or plastic hanger. Eventually, this would result in a tangled mess in her drawers due to rummaging for that “needed tank top” or ruined elasticity of tank tops slung on the hanger.

One evening Chrissie and her husband were folding laundry and watching the TV show “The Big Idea”. The love of her life, Terrance, looked at the tangled mess of tank tops that Chrissie had placed on a hanger and wondered if they could produce one for women that would make clothing items not only more accessible but visual to the eye. Chrissie knew that she wasn’t the only woman who had the problem of organizing those special clothing items like tank tops, bras, etc..

Chrissie begin formulating ideas of what she thought would negate the need for tank tops, etc., in a drawer or on the neck of a hanger. As ideas sprung to life, her husband “Terrance” sketched them on paper.

The end result was the HankyTankyHanger. Chrissie proceeded to get her design & utility patented and meet with the right manufacturer who believed in her vision. She developed the HankyTankyHanger to hang twelve garments. Not only could the HankyTankyHanger efficiently organize tank tops, but could be utilized for camisoles, lingerie, children’s clothes, jerseys and much more. It could also be used for drying swim suits, bras, and could be easily dissembled and taken on trips for keeping your best items in order.
